Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of practicimo.info (the “Service”), operated by Fretsy (“we,” “us”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

1. The Service

Fretsy is a guitar-practice tool that generates practice material (scales, arpeggios, chord progressions, drills) and related features. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Accounts

• You log in with your email via a one-time link. Keep access to your email account secure — anyone with it can access your account.
• You’re responsible for activity under your account, and for providing an accurate email address.
• Accounts are for individual use; don’t share your account or resell access.

3. Free and Premium plans

• The Service offers a free tier and a paid Premium subscription that unlocks additional content and features.
• Premium is offered as a monthly or annual subscription that renews automatically until cancelled.
• Billing is handled by LemonSqueezy, our payment provider and Merchant of Record. Your purchase is also subject to LemonSqueezy’s terms, and any applicable taxes are calculated and collected by them.
• You can cancel anytime from your account / customer portal; cancellation stops future renewals, and your Premium access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• We may change prices or plan features; we’ll give reasonable notice of changes that affect an active subscription, and changes won’t apply to a period you’ve already paid for.
• Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.

4. Acceptable use

Please don’t: misuse or disrupt the Service; attempt to bypass security or access controls (including the free/premium gate); resell or redistribute paid content; or use the Service unlawfully.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, and its content are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own practice. Musical theory and common chord progressions themselves are not claimed as proprietary.

6. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fretsy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; we’ll update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
